This policy describes what Vibe Code Pipeline (https://vibecodepipeline.com) collects and how it is used. We keep it short and honest.
Who we are
The publication is operated as Vibe Code Pipeline. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected]. A registered office will be listed on the company page when an operating entity is filed.
What we collect
- Account email. If you sign in, we store your email address, a hashed session token, and temporary one-time codes. Codes expire in ten minutes. We use a transactional email service only to deliver the sign-in code — your address is not added to a marketing list unless you separately subscribe to the newsletter. Your email, account role, and exact sign-in timestamps are never shown on public pages. Community posts and comments appear as “Member” unless you set a display name.
- Newsletter email. If you subscribe, we store your address until you unsubscribe. We send occasional updates about new content and platform changes.
- Cookie preference. A flag in your browser (localStorage) that records whether you accepted optional cookies. See the cookie policy.
- Community posts and comments. If you post in the community or comment on content, we store your account ID, the text, and the date. Posts are reviewed by staff before going public. Comments are public once approved.
- Product listings. If you submit a product, we store the listing details and your account identity. Unapproved listings are not public.
- Votes and bookmarks. One row per action, linked to your account. Used to render vote counts and your personal bookmarks.
- Analytics events. If you accept analytics cookies, named events (page views, simulation plays, searches) are logged in our database. No IP address or account identity is stored on those rows.
- Server logs. The hosting provider may record standard request metadata (IP, user agent, URL, timestamp) for security. We do not sell log data.
Email sending
Sign-in codes and newsletter emails are sent via a transactional email service (Resend). Your email address is held in our own database — it is not stored in a third-party marketing audience unless we state otherwise.
Advertising
Sponsored slots show first-party cards only — no third-party ad networks or tracking pixels. Ads render only if you accepted ads cookies and a campaign is active in that slot. Sponsored content is always labeled.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not fabricate authors, reviews, or traffic statistics.
- We do not use your content to train a private model.
- We do not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts.
Retention
Sessions last 30 days or until you sign out. Sign-in codes expire after use or ten minutes. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie choices persist until you clear site data. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
Your rights
You can refuse optional cookies, clear site data in your browser, and email [email protected] to request access to or deletion of data we hold. Statutory rights (access, deletion, objection) apply where the law of your country provides them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. Do not submit personal data about a child.
